In this department you will find a wide range of mainly instrumental recordings selected from our database of over 10,700 worldwide available titles in this genre. Through the past 25 years an enormous number of artists and groups have expanded a list that started out with just a few dozen names to literally a cast of thousands. A selected range is available in the on-line shop, and the department will expand quite rapidly over the coming months.

It’s all here: ‘Melodic Neo-Classical’, ‘Rhythmic Electronic’, ‘Space Music’, ‘New Age’ and all points in between, covering everything from the ‘Berlin School’ styles of Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze through to the ‘Healing’ and ‘Mediation’ sounds of labels like Dawn Awakening and New World. In between you will enter the tuneful, rhythmic worlds of Jean Michel Jarre and John Dyson then move into the realms of symphonic grandeur with melody merchants like Andy Pickford, Vangelis and Kitaro and then take a few steps beyond into the modern ‘Ambient’ planes occupied by Ian Boddy. Apart from the older, established European pioneers and UK/USA innovators, there is also a younger generation of musicians around today with something completely new to say, and many sound just as good as their mentors did back then, with a few even managing to better them!
